Relaxing Spot, perfect service and great atmosphere.

The hotel delivers everything it promises. The location is outstandingly beautiful and peaceful. Every little spot seems o be perfectly designed to be comfortable and with a relaxing atmosphere. the pool and lake are great, inside pool as well. The breakfast is incredible with eggs and coffee to order and great selection of pastries, cheeses, fruits, honey, etc. We had dinner in the deck one night what was also great. The room is big and comfortable.

No big deals but 2 things: - No towel handlers in the bathroom; - We had to ask for soap reposition in the second night. Be aware that you'll be around 30 minutes from Evora. Montemor-o-novo is about 5 minutes drive and has plenty of services there (but no good restaurants or touristic points of view)

location, room size, having a lake, spa treatments, yoga class, breakfast, deck view, quality of furnishings,

Service at the restaurant and bar could be more efficient, more attentive and more friendly, several times they took to long, and brought drinks much after food! And several seemed to struggle with both portuguese and english. construction noise, road noise, sales pitch over breakfast

Staff's simpathy, the pool (including the pool restaurant location) and the lake.

Breakfast is a bit confusing and slow. Dinner at the restaurant is very expensive.

Superb way to relax, with a good mixture or leisure and activities.

Everything. Concept is great, design is a winner. Location is ideal distance from airport and city.

Maintenance is needed before it’s too late. 30% of lights in room don’t work. Aircon in living room didn’t work.

A very memorable experience

Fantastically beautiful hotel and environment! Pool area is so beautiful. We stayed in a sky view room which we really liked - very big and beautiful room. Very good breakfast (one of the best omelettes I've eaten at a hotel) - loved that they also have champagne ;) Many affordable and good wines in the winelist. The food was generally of a good standard. A little disappointed with restaurant MAPA which maintains a slightly uneven level - some dishes should have been better considering the price. We booked a dinner in the vineyard (a special event) - which was absolutely fantastic. So cozy, very nice staff and generous amout of wine.

We book a Portuguese wine tasting, the wines were mostely good but we had hoped for a little more commitment and knowledge from the "guide". The cleaners forgot several times to refill toilet paper and tissues. Lots of bees and wasps in the grass by the pool, unfortunately I stepped on a bee and had an allergic reaction. The staff should have given a warning about this, since I wasn't the only one who got stung... As the room is so big, the AC wasn't really enough to cool down the hole room. Had to keep bedroom doors and window curtains completely closed during the day to be able to sleep. The bathroom was unfortunately very hot all the time, which was a bit difficult when getting ready for the evening. Most of the staff at the pool were very young and unexperienced, there were several misunderstandings, orders were forgotten and it took time to get service.

Great location, very relaxing

We had a lake view suite, there were a few issues with the suite. Black out curtains coming out of the tracking after our first night we asked for it to be fixed which they but same thing happened again, management didn’t seem surprised, do why wasn’t it fixed? Safe not fixed to anything someone could just pick it up

The property, the concept, the decoration, very good room, 1h from Lisbon, the exclusiveness. Quite a product!

Serene peaceful luxurious stay to recharge mind and body

Beautifully located, super high end finish of buildings, apartment insides, awesome breakfast, very friendly staff, serene natural beauty.

Bathrooms could have more lighting. Is black with dim lighting so difficult to shave for guys and do make up for girls.

Nice place to escape the hustle of the city !

The location was just perfect !

Our bathrooms didn’t have good ventilation! The choice of colours inside the bathrooms was a bit depressing !! The bar restaurant service was great, however the food wasn’t that much great !

One of the best hotels in Portugal

Everything was amazing, from the amenities, indoor pool, staff, breakfast. The villa that we stayed was modern and everything was well made. It's a high quality luxury hotel.

The only thing that needed improvement was having night lights on the path between the villas and the main building. I understand that the goal is to have as little light position as possible, but I had to use the phone flashlight to see the path. Other than that everything was amazing.

Great to be back after 6 years!

The attentive staff and the villas equipment and design. Absolutely superb. The fireplace outside the villa for a wonderful experience. Amazing breakfast as well.

Our bathroom could have been cleaner. Low water pressure in the rainfall shower. Noisy gardeners starting to work very early in the morning, not allowing for the promised restful experience.

Wonderful

Architecturally a gem of a hotel. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Sleeping under the stars was a fine experience. The afternoon cheese and wine was a nice gesture. Dining on the restaurant's outdoor terrace was a delightful experience. Breakfast was top-notch with a sufficiently large and varied selection.

The small paddling pool on the terrace was unnecessary and not convenient. The hotel has been in business for several years and it shows some "laisser-aller" (wear and tear, sloppiness). That's not ok when you present yourself as as a 5 star hotel which is reflected in both accommodation and food & beverage prices.
